Welcome to ORIN. This website is operated by ORIN Fine Ltd (“ORIN”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using our website, registering your interest in the ORIN Founding 50 and, when shopping opens, buying from us.

Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have under applicable consumer law.

1. Our current launch stage

ORIN is not yet open for shopping. You can explore our collections and register your interest in the ORIN Founding 50, but you cannot currently place an order or make a payment through this website.

Registering your interest is free. It does not require you to buy anything, reserve a particular piece or guarantee you a Founding 50 place. We will explain how places are confirmed, the applicable prices and the purchasing process before any order is placed.

Product details, prices and availability displayed before shopping opens are for information and may change. We will show the applicable information when purchases become available.

2. Using our website

You agree to provide accurate information when completing a form or contacting us. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, submit unlawful content, or use our content or product images for commercial purposes without our permission.

We may restrict access to the website if necessary to protect our customers, our systems or our rights.

3. Product information

We take care to describe and photograph ORIN pieces accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting, and measurements and weights described as approximate may vary slightly between pieces. We will make the essential details of a product available before you buy it.

We may update designs and product information. Any change to a product you have already ordered will be handled in accordance with your consumer rights.

4. Orders and payment

This section applies once shopping opens. Placing an order is an offer to buy the selected items. We will acknowledge receipt of your order and tell you when it has been accepted. If we cannot accept an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken.

Before you complete a purchase, we will display the price, available delivery options and charges, and any applicable taxes or other charges that we collect. Payment will be taken through the payment methods offered at checkout.

If we discover a clear pricing or product-information error before accepting an order, we will contact you so you can decide whether to proceed at the corrected price or cancel. We will not change the agreed price of an accepted order without your agreement.

5. Delivery

This section applies once shopping opens. Available delivery destinations, costs and estimated times will be shown before you order. If a delivery issue arises, please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve it.

We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable law. Your rights if delivery is late, lost or unsuccessful are unaffected by these terms.

For orders crossing borders, any duties or import charges that we do not collect at checkout will be explained before purchase where applicable.

6. Cancellations, returns and faulty items

Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains our 30-day returns offer and how to contact us about a return. It does not limit any legal right to cancel a distance purchase or your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

7. Founding 50

Information about Founding 50 benefits is available on our website. Founding pricing and benefits will apply only as described in the offer presented when purchasing opens. A registration of interest alone does not create a purchase contract or guarantee availability, a particular founding number, early access to every future product or an opportunity to participate in every product decision.

We will make any important eligibility conditions clear before customers are asked to purchase.

8. Website content and intellectual property

The ORIN name, branding, designs, photographs, text and other original website content belong to ORIN or are used with permission. You may view the website for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or use its content commercially without our written permission.

9. Reviews and content you send us

If you choose to submit a review, photograph or other content for publication, you confirm that you have the right to share it. By submitting it for that purpose, you give ORIN permission to display and reproduce it in connection with our website and promotion of ORIN. Please do not send us content containing another person’s image or personal information without their permission.

We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes someone else’s rights. We will not present a paid or gifted review as an independent purchase review.

10. Third-party services and links

Our website is powered by Shopify and may link to services or websites operated by others. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Purchases from ORIN, once available, are made with ORIN Fine Ltd, not Shopify.

11. Website availability and liability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we may need to update it or temporarily interrupt access. We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms where those losses were reasonably foreseeable when you used the website or placed an order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. That policy explains how we use information submitted through Founding 50 registration and other website forms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ORIN develops, including when shopping opens. We will publish the updated terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The terms applicable to an order will be those in effect when that order is accepted, unless a change is required by law or you agree to it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in a court available to you under applicable consumer law.
